In 2005, following the addition of school capacity as a mandatory concurrency feature of Florida’s program, White & Smith was asked to join a team of planners, consultants, and attorneys to craft guidelines and a model school concurrency ordinance. The resulting guidelines and model ordinance have provided guidance to local governments throughout the state that implemented school concurrency consistent with evolving state laws.
