After twenty great years as White & Smith Planning and Law Group, we are happy to announce the formation of White Smith Cousino, a full-service firm continuing its focus on code writing, impact fees/APFO, military compatibility, design and all other aspects of local government planning.
Our staff remains the same; however, we are thrilled to have Kelly Cousino, AICP join us as partner in the firm as we look forward to the NEXT twenty years.
Mark White & Tyson Smith will continue to maintain an independent land use law practice, now through the law firm of White & Smith Zoning Law, LLC.
White Smith Cousino, formerly White & Smith, is a full-service planning firm, offering our clients expertise in code writing, design, infrastructure finance, land use compatibility, zoning implementation, and other areas of community planning. Our original founders, Mark White and Tyson Smith, each bring over 30 years of planning experience with hundreds of cities and counties around the country. Kelly Cousino brings over 20 years of experience as well, both in the public and private sectors. Legal services are also available through a separate entity, White & Smith Zoning Law (see menu above).
Our practice is national and multidisciplinary and is built on decades of experience with rural, urban, and suburban communities from Seattle to Key West, New Hampshire to Arizona. Our planners are certified in planning, architecture, and design, allowing us to provide the full range of community planning services to our clients.
We maintain offices in in Missouri, South Carolina, Florida, and New York, while servicing cities and counties nationwide.
